The Coop Store employs 20-25 Pomona College students at all times. Hiring occurs the first week of each semester. Students are welcome to submit their application (see below for application) during summer or winter breaks. The application process for the Store is very competitive, so get your applications in early!
Clerks begin at minimum wage and will work three 3-hour permanent shifts per week. Scheduling is based on the student's class schedule. Each clerk is also required to sign up for a certain amount of "rotating shifts" (weekend, night shifts) each semester. There is also room for advancement, with the possibility of holding a total of 4 different positions during your career at the Store.
